Men in the gym

Let's get one thing straight, fellas.. While you are in the gym, it is anything but necessary for you to act like a damn fool. Okay?

I work out too. Every single day, to be exact. Even on what should be my rest days I am doing something.

It is now week 10 into the semester, which means I have worked in the gym 30 times. Which means that I have been here 3 days a week since the semester started. Which means nothing to you. But let me explain.

I am a hard worker. Before leaving, unless the baseball team is here, I shut off all lights, turn off all fans, wipe down all machines, and put away all weights that are laying around.

So when your obnoxious ass comes into the gym and throws the weights around, it makes you look like a douche. Which sends me into a fit of anger. Because why? This is my gym. This is my job. This is my place. But let me repeat something. THIS IS MY GYM. Not yours. So don't come in here, acting like your shit don't stink and throw stuff around.

I will kick your ass out. I will let my higher up know that I think what you're doing is a bit extreme and it's annoying. Because you're making my job harder by throwing stuff around that doesn't need to be thrown around.

I don't have to do the things that I do. I could wait until the end of my shift and then leave. But I respect this place more than that. Which is what you need to start doing, as well.

So fellas, here's a bit of advice. Stop trying to show off for us ladies. We don't care. Especially in a gym setting. We are here for one thing, and it's certainly not you. So get over yourself.
